The Producers - David and Tori Arbon with their daughter Mary grow and make wine, olive oil, fruit and nut preserves, verjuice, vinegar and apple cider.

"Producers is our way of sharing McLaren Vale life with guests: workshops, activities and lunch are based on produce from the farm with spectacular vineyard views to Willunga Hills."

Producers has 30 hectares of vines and over 350 fruit and nut trees as the source of our range of house-made products and ingredients:  Wine, Verjuice, Vinegar, Grape Juice, Extra Virgin Olive Oils-Koroneiki,  Verdale and Frantoio; Pickled Olives, Almonds; Preserves made from our Oranges, Lemons, Mandarins, Quinces, Pears, Apples, Walnuts, Mulberries, Plums, Peaches, Nectarines, Apricots, Nashi, Fijoa, and Figs.  Random plantings of heirloom veggies, a multitude of herbs and our grass foraging chickens' eggs add the freshest ingredients to our dishes.

The Producers grow organic for flavour, with a holistic approach to agriculture where care of the environment, wildlife and future of the region are part of everyday management.  Making our wine begins with allowing the vines to flourish in harmony with the soil, climate and season. We operate with biological principles, that means we look after the environment, nurture the soil, no pesticides are used, we practice zero tillage and bring out the best flavour and quality by dry growing or use minimal watering when necessary.

Native flora and fauna features ancient gum trees with recent plantings of native understorey; grasses and ground cover lining the winter creek attract native fauna, an abundant bird life including a resident family of kangaroos.
