Visit Producers Restaurant on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for lunch from the farm - 8323 0060.
The Producers - David Arbon and Tori Moreton are passionate regional producers, growing and making wine, olive oil, preserves, verjuice, vinegar and apple cider.
"Producers is our way of sharing McLaren Vale life with guests: lunch in our restaurant is based on produce from the farm with spectacular views from our vines to Willunga Hills. Book in for lunch on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Add in one of our workshops with lunch for a whole afternoon food and wine experience: try cheese-making, bubbles, vineyard walks, olive experience and even make your own wine during vintage!"
Over 250 fruit and nut trees are the source of our range of premium products and restaurant menu: Extra Virgin single varietal Olive Oils-Koroneiki, Verdale and Frantoio; Pickled olives, Almonds, Oranges, Lemons, Mandarins, Quinces, Pears, Apples, Walnuts, Mulberries, Plums, Peaches, Nectarines, Apricots, Nashi, Fijoa, and Figs. Random plantings of heirloom veggies, a multitude of herbs and our grass foraging chooks' best-ever-eggs add the finest ingredients to our dishes.
The Producers grow organic for flavour, with a holistic approach to agriculture where care of the environment, wildlife and future of the region are part of everyday management. Making our wine begins with allowing the vines to flourish in harmony with the soil, climate and season. We operate with biological principles, that means we look after the environment, nurture the soil, no pesticides are used, we practice zero tillage and bring out the best flavour and quality by dry growing or use minimal watering when necessary.
Native flora and fauna features ancient gum trees with recent plantings of native understorey; grasses and ground cover lining the winter creek attract native fauna, an abundant bird life including a resident family of kangaroos.
